Unbelievable, indescribable, incomprehensible.
After 10-day hermit I actually had to leave my apartment to go to the movies with friends. After the first shock, oxygen, and a reasonable period of familiarization with the brightness, I realized that the world still so ausieht as before. You what it is good or bad, everyone should make up with yourself.
The evening was relaxed and completely stress-free (below called girlfriend was not there). We looked at Public Enemies, a film by Michael Mann, starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale. These are three good reasons to ever go to the movies and we were not disappointed. The film is
John Dillinger (Depp), a bank robber of it in Chicago in the 30s and 40s brought to prominence. He is chased by Melvin Purvis (Bale) is one of the first agents of the FBI. Incidentally is described the structure of authority and worked up the brutality of both sides. The two main storylines, however, the conflict between Dillinger and Purvis (which it only meet 1x) and the love story between Dillinger and Billie Frechette (Marion Cotillard). It is the love story is not nearly as pushy as was threatened in the run and fits smoothly into the plot.
The film was shot in HD, which stands out perfectly. The mixing between the atmospheric high-gloss images the core story and the shaky handheld camera lens while shooting is a great design element. Man sits heavily on his characters and provides a lot of zoom on the faces of the actors who put all their skills. In particular, the confrontation scene between Dillinger and Purvis is played very strong.
little more character depth would have been nice to have the issue in the action, unfortunately, lost. You have to read between the lines already in order to understand the characters really. Despite its length of 2 hours 20 minutes, the film has no lengths and although one would have somehow wanted a different ending, you go with a good feeling from the movies. The last film of this managed was Walk the Line.
Public Enemies, in my opinion, sunk to injustice in public. But perhaps the film is developed so a DVD-Renner, tend Depp and Bale films usually yes.
The only negative was that night, the prices of Coke and popcorn ... so slowly it checked out really! We do not take nothing with our stuff from home.
